Since our establishment in 2015, LB2 has been dedicated to supporting healthy eating habits and providing vital nutritional resources for children in Northwest Indiana. As a proud sponsor of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), we play a crucial role in ensuring that participants receive nutritious meals and snacks.
Our Mission:
At LB2, our mission is to empower child home daycares throughout Northwest Indiana to provide high-quality, nutritious food to those in their care. We believe that access to wholesome meals is fundamental to growth, development, and overall well-being.
What We Do:
As a CACFP sponsor, we serve as a vital link between the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and local care providers. Our comprehensive support includes:
Guidance and Training: We provide expert guidance on CACFP regulations, meal patterns, and record-keeping, ensuring our partners remain compliant and confident in their program participation.
Reimbursement Processing: We streamline the reimbursement process, helping care providers receive financial support for eligible meals and snacks served.
Nutritional Education: We offer resources and education on healthy eating, promoting balanced diets and good nutrition practices.
Ongoing Support: Our dedicated team is always available to answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, and offer personalized support to each of our sponsored homes.
